Project Description
Medway’s new DPW facility includes a 32,500 square-foot pre-engineered building that accommodates administrative offices, vehicle repair and storage bays, a truck wash, shops and storage, along with a 4,100 square-foot vehicle canopy and a new salt shed. Colantonio installed solar panels that cover the entire roof of the main building and the vehicle canopy.
The facility’s expansive photovoltaic array system was designed to provide one hundred percent of the building’s energy needs on a net annual basis and has received Zero Energy Certification by the International Living Future Institute.
